Some of the  world’s top international football clubs visited North America to compete in the 2011 Herbalife World Football Challenge. For the first time, the football spectacle featured teams from Major League Soccer (MLS). Participating international clubs included FC Barcelona, Manchester United, Real Madrid, Manchester City, CD Guadalajara and Club America, along with MLS teams: LA Galaxy, New England Revolution, Vancouver Whitecaps, Chicago Fire and Philadelphia Union.
